About the election

The Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO) is holding the 2026 general local election for eligible voters in Electoral Area East and Electoral Area West.

Eligible voters in these areas will vote for a Director for Electoral Area East and a Director for Electoral Area West, as well as vote in the School District 23 trustee election.

Electoral area directors represent residents on the Regional Board and help make decisions about local and regional services, including planning, parks, emergency management, infrastructure and more.

If you live in Kelowna, West Kelowna, Lake Country, Peachland, Vernon or another municipality, election information is available through your local government.
