Thank you to everyone for participating in the second round of public input for the Kalamoir Regional Park 20-year park management plan.
We’ve heard from people who are very passionate about this park and are truly interested in the future improvements. We had over 100 people come to the open house in Kalamoir Regional Park, 119 people visit the online forum, and 47 people contribute to the forum discussion.
The parking and trail concepts proposed are for the benefit of all park users to enjoy and share natural space, recreational trails and access park amenities. Many liked the parking concept designs and agree with accessibility upgrades. We heard a few different opinions about trail improvements.
All feedback will be considered, along with technical and financial considerations, as we continue to develop the 20-year park management recommendations and plan. Please subscribe to this page for updates.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. All feedback will be considered with other technical and financial considerations as we develop the 20-year park management plan. These design drawings for the trail and parking areas are conceptual and are not detailed engineered designs for construction.
