As we near completion of Phase 2: Community Engagement this October, we look forward to developing the COEDC Strategy 2025 to 2030 in Phase 3 for the remainder of 2024.Stay tuned for further updates. Strategy Background and Overview The Central Okanagan Economic Development Commission (COEDC) is in the process of developing a renewed 5-Year Strategy (2025-2030) by evaluating current economic development initiatives, consulting with the community, and identifying regional economic opportunities, the COEDC is committed to encouraging the development of a healthy and dynamic sustainable economy in the Central Okanagan.The COEDC has retained Deloitte LLP, an economic consulting firm, to assist with the COEDC Strategy 2025 to 2030, the process includes conducting thorough economic analysis and engagement with industry leaders, post-secondary institutions, support organizations, and local governments. In crafting strategic directions for the next five years, Deloitte LLP will consider regional opportunities and challenges, focusing on areas where COEDC can have the most significant impact.
